CU-RTC-Web stands for Customizable, Ubiquitous Real Time Communication over the Web.
It was a competing specification by Microsoft that rivaled WebRTC. The main focus of this proposal was to provide a lower level API (and power) to developers by providing better control over channels.
This has been later on wrapped as part of the work put into ORTC.
CU-RTC-Web is currently obsolete.
WebRTC Glossary is a collaborative space where users can learn more about WebRTC related terms. Anyone can also modify or add new terms to this glossary, but it requires registration to the site first.
